Playing solo? How far you got?

Got to level 30 (I think) right after finishing Act Two, and I was all excited. That was a fairly epic fight. Then I ran into a monkey champion who trapped me and killed me while I couldn't move....

Oh well. At least this time my "couldn't move" was caused by the monkey and not a glitch.

You don't have leap slam, or flicker strike, or lightning warp?

I hear you about the couldn't move thing. I got glitch stuck a few times now - which is why I'm pretty much just playing softcore until they get it sorted.

That bear trapper scared the crap out of me, did survive though.

I have made it to A1 Cruel so far (HC).

I've played solo for the most part, but not by choice, because I play on an old macbook with the unofficial mac port (which is great.. oh except in act 3 where it's not... oh and except for teaming with people if you have an older macbook where it's not- still, better than nothing, so i'm grateful).

I'm doing the heavy summoner/arc build, similar to magicrectangle. It's a very good solo build and Im up to piety. It's also pretty affordable if you opt against chain and use elemental proliferation, which I recommend as it works much better at spreading shock and allows you to keep you dps up ( I just figured this out after playing all the way to act3 with an expensive, less effective chain skill gem, stupid Scotchfist).

I haven't killed merciless Piety yet tho :-/ lvl 67 for reference

Flicker strike's a good idea to keep around in a spare slot if that will work (don't think my ranger had seen the other two drop). Will have to remember it on my next go.
