Anyone Else Doing A League Event Today?

So I might be able to JUST fit in the first one before my day begins (barely). I tested out a witch just now, and while I got to lvl 11 and 13 seems feasible (3 reward points), I highly doubt I'll make it in an hour. Still, sounds like fun. Anyone else going?

Alright, alright! I'll do it! Haven't decided on the class yet, and I will likely fail miserably with little to no preparation....but yea!

Kestegs, I've done the first 3 days of Tony Robbins' 30-day Personal Power II eight times. And if I've learned anything from him, it's that success is luck + something. Probably procrastination. I'm not sure. So we'll do great.

So, Shadow seems to be the race way to go. Shadows were the top 6, 7 of the top 10, and 25 of the top 50. The csv export from the path of exile website only gives the top 2000 players, but by class, here was the breakout of the top 2000

Shadow 556
Ranger 453
Marauder 307
Duelist 258
Templar 221
Witch 205

Was a real fun race and I'd do it again for sure!

Did a templar who went north on his tree into the spell section. Had an amulet with 4 life regen drop in mudflats and a rare wand with total 32% spell damage drop in the next area. I skipped the fetid pool, tidal cove, submerged passage, and all the ship graveyard events. Firestorm is a beast at early levels, had never even used it before this run, and I really like it.

I fully expected to get ganked by brutus, but he was never too dangerous really. Made it up to the first cavern. I'm sure I could do much better next time, I wasted a lot of time. Scariest moment was when I ran through a pack of 30+ monsters in the coves that were all supported by a substantial physical damage aura. Thought I was a gonner there for sure but made it through.

I also got a blessed orb early on, thought that was pretty funny.

Next time I'll get the quicksilver flask quest reward

Yeah I'm thinking of doing Templar too now. Great job kestegs. So close to six points!

Not great, the totem got me on the ledge. Made it to lvl 8 i think. Maybe 9.

I had meant to do the one hour one, but stayed up too late the night before. I'd managed to kill my low level (like, really low) witch 6 or 7 times that day somehow, and my complete failure was driving me crazy. That didn't help, since it made me get more reckless each time which just made the problem worse.

I'd been hoping to use it as an excuse to just check out duelist though.

Not going to be on much for a few days because of exams, but maybe I'll catch another race after they pass. Or maybe I'll end up waiting till the next cycle and try to get more involved then so I have the chance to actually win something. Glad to hear that (some of) you did well though!
